April 23: We will be trying something completely different this week at Roots Revival (scroll down to the date): the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah. We would like to thank our singing teacher Martha Bassett for helping us learn this song, and we would also like to thank Pat Lawrence and Sam Frazer for accompanying us on this Americana version of the chorus.

April 19: Concert for the Second Sundays on Fourth indiegogo campaign at Camino Bakery. 2-4 pm.

March 28-30:  Musical weekend at Rex and Jessie McGee’s home in King, NC. Musicians included us (The Dan River Girls), The Fernandez Sisters, Sylvia and Rex McGee, John Garris, and Pete Campbell.

March 22: Eden, NC. Picnic sponsored by Appalachian Voices and the Dan River Basin Association in celebration of the Dan River.

February 28: River of Coal concert at Wake Forest University for the Dan River coal ash spill. Performed with Laurelyn Dossett.

February 28: We will be competing in the Winston-Salem Shuffle Showcase for all the winners of the past year. We would love to see you at Krankies Coffeehouse at 8 PM.
